Morris Chestnut appears on Wendy Williams

Just before The Best Man Holiday hit theaters, actor Morris Chestnut sat down with Wendy Williams to dish on his reprisal in the new film. In addition to speaking on his role as Lance Sullivan, Chestnut shared little known tidbits about his private life including the fact that he’s been married for 17 years and has two children.

“Everybody’s great,”said Chestnut about his family.“My wife does it big all the time. She’s so big on the holidays…The day after Halloween is when she starts putting up the Christmas tree.”

When asked if his son, 16, and daughter, 14, were dating the 35-year-old actor offered a candid response.

“No, they better not be,” he said. But, then again, Chestnut told Williams if the answer is yes, he may not know it yet.

“See, you know, my wife and my daughter have a great relationship and I don’t get all of the information,” said Chestnut.“And, rightfully so, because I would have issues. My daughter’s not gonna date until she’s about 35.”
