Since the early years of her career, Christina Aguilera has shared on many occasions, and also in song, that her estranged father, Fausto Wagner Xavier Aguilera, was abusive towards her mother, Shelly Lorraine. Christina’s parents divorced when she was seven and since then her father has repeatedly tried to reconcile with her, but it wasn’t until recently admitted that she’s ready to reconcile with her father.
