Envision the practice of player hating on the supernatural level and you’ll get an idea of this movie’s plot. Ashley (Lake Bell) and Henry (Paul Rudd) are a couple in love who have one obstacle to their relationship’s growth: Henry’s dead fiancée, Kate (Eva Longoria), who is determined to keep him from marrying. To add to the movie’s complexity, Ashley is a psychic who is sensitive to otherworldly phenomena. This is a hilarious comedy-romance that depicts conflicting passions in creative ways. Longoria approaches comic genius in her role, and the rest of the cast is great.
