Rich Dollaz of “Love & Hip Hop” is the latest celeb to fall victim to an apparent nude photo scandal. Dollaz, who stars in the program along with his artist-girlfriend Erica Mena, is denying reports that photos floating on the Web feature his naked body.
Early Wednesday, blogger FunkyDineva posted the photos that show a man who resembles Dollaz shirtless and later dropping trou. “I guess this is the part where I get mad (and) talk s—, but I won’t,” wrote Dollaz on Twitter. “I guess the b.s. image s— is part of the game. No worries. Enjoy,” he added.
He later called in to Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club” and explained that he sent out cease and desist forms ordering their removal from the Web.
And while fans have reacted online to the photos and called them unflattering, an obvious close friend of the reality star is speaking out.
Karrine Steffans, who recently released her book detailing her lengthy love affair with rapper Lil Wayne, defended her friend’s honor and called the photos fake. She later hinted at knowing firsthand and posted a screenshot of a recent FaceTime chat between herself and Rich with words of encouragement. “People only have the power you give them. We are here to entertain. They are here to give us the power to do that,” she captioned the photo.
