Superstar Jay-Z had rapped of his love for his nephews since the early days of his rap career, but in 2005 tragedy struck Jay and his family when his beloved nephew, Colleek D. Luckie, was killed in a car crash. Jay later wrote somberly about the loss in his 2006 single “Lost Ones.”
