By the end of Royce Reed’s stint on “Basketball Wives” last year it seemed like her personal life had fallen into shambles as her friendships with her cast mates had fallen apart and her relationship with her boyfriend had crumbled as well. To top it all off, the reality TV star was unceremoniously booted from the show. But according to Reed, life post-“BBW” is great and she’s now repaired her once broken relationships.

“As much as I enjoyed the checks, it wasn’t worth contradicting myself and doing something I didn’t really believe in. I felt kinda like I was selling my soul,” Reed said in an interview with her old network, VH1. “I was totally fine with the way I went out last season, you saw me doing my career, you saw me being me.”

During Reed’s final season, her friendships with Tami Roman, Evelyn Lozada and Shaunie O’Neal had all deteriorated and Lozada and O’Neal famously refused to shoot with her. And although Reed, Lozada and O’Neal still don’t talk, Reed claims that she and Roman, who is now on the outs with the other two, are now talking again and that she and fellow former cast mate Kesha Nichols are still friends as well.

“Kesha’s my girl; we still speak. And Tami and I are good again now,” Reed said, explaining how they repaired their relationship. “I reached out to her, obviously, after her mom passed, and I sent some stuff for the service. We kinda talked and I think she realizes where I was coming from, and I think she realizes I was being a true friend to her.

Reed added, “I’ve always cared about Tami. I’m not gonna badmouth her; I will voice my opinion, though.”

Reed also discussed her once rocky relationship with her boyfriend Dezmon Briscoe, who famously cheated on her last year with an ex-girlfriend.

“Dezmon and I are good. We went through some bad times and for the past year it was very on and off, really it was a lot of off,” she explained. “I learned from doing this show that relationships last longer when no one knows your business. With that said, Dezmon and I are on good terms.”
