Chicago represented Thursday night, packing Soldier Field stadium with over 60,000 concert goers. The vibe and atmosphere throughout the field was infectious. Everyone stood singing and dancing along with Jay Z and Beyoncé to over 40 of their classic hits. Although Mr. & Mrs. Carter had everyone waiting 1 ½ hours before they performed, and the traffic getting to the stadium was insane, the wait was well worth it. The dynamic duo literally had everyone out of their seats for the entire 2.5 hour show.

First lady Michelle Obama and her two daughters were in the house. It’s no secret that the Obama’s are supporters of Jay and Queen Bey.  Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, and Steven Tyler were also in attendance. Beyoncé took to Instagram stating, “Chicago you were one of the loudest audiences so far! Thank you for a beautiful night.” Overall, it was a great night and some much needed positive press for the city.- lili
