Stars: Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro,
Chris Tucker, Jennifer Lawrence

Pat Solitano (Bradley Cooper), a former teacher, has a mental breakdown after finding his wife in the shower with a much older man. So after spending time in a mental hospital, he moves in with his parents. Which is a total recipe for disaster, but makes for great comedy. Solitano tries to fix what he thinks is wrong with himself in hopes of winning his wife back. Then he meets a quirky widow whose demons include depression. She can’t exorcise her dead husband from her life, and Solitano can’t give up his dream of reconciling with his wife, so these two aren’t exactly a match made in heaven. Being human is a messy, complicated business. This film explores what can happen when we look for silver linings anyway.
