The Steel Helmet is essentially a White Russian with a float of Galliano liqueur on top.

1 ounce Grey Goose vodka


1 ounce coffee liqueur

milk or cream to fill

Galliano liqueur

Build the vodka, coffee liqueur and milk or cream in an old-fashioned glass.

Stir well.

Float Galliano on top by slowly pouring it over the back of a bar spoon.

3 ounces  brandy

2-3 dashes Angostura bitters

1 teaspoon sugar

dash of water

lemon peel for garnish

Place the sugar cube at the bottom of an old-fashioned glass.

Saturate the cube with the water and bitters.

Muddle these ingredients.

Fill the glass with ice cubes.

Add the brandy.

Stir well.

Garnish with a lemon peel.

2 ounces orange Juice

Recipe Makes a large quantity. For individual servings decrease to 2 ounces Midori, 1 ounce vodka and a splash of OJ. Combine Midori and vodka first and then add in orange juice.
