Amid reports that it was blocked in a European country as well as a rumored romance between two of its stars, a blockbuster film will return to theaters for a sequel. According to numerous reports, Think Like A Man has received the green light for a second installment via Will Packer and his Rainforest Films imprint.
The Screen Gems film was widely successful, opening at No.1. at the domestic box office and managed to shoot down The Hunger Games from the top spot. Think Like A Man has since grossed over $91 million to date. On board for the next film, will of course be Steve Harvey whose book is the basis of the film, as well as Rushion McDonald and Rob Hardy. No word on if the cast will be kept the same in its entirety or if there will be a few shakeups.
In Think Like A Man, Taraji P. Henson’s onscreen chemistry with her costar Michael Ealy sparked rumors that they were dating. Ealy elated legions of his female fans however when he went on Wendy Williams to assure them of his still single status. Following that there were reports that the African American actors and actresses in the film turned off members of the French cinema and the film was therefore banned in the country. That report has since been shot down by French officials. -danielle canada
