Television has been offering a steady diet of advertisements for the Warner Bros. flick Watchmen — an adaptation of the graphic comic of the same name. Those TV spots, while exciting, fail to capture just how exhilarating the movie really is. Cloaked in the same darkness that lifted the Batman series, Watchmen is a brooding movie that lurks in the shadows while the central superhero characters search for peace in a chaotic city. –dewayne rogers
