Although it’s been more than 15 years since accusations of a lesbian relationship between Whitney Houston and then-assistant Robin Crawford were swirling in the entertainment world, Bobby Brown’s new tell-all book, The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothin But …, is rumored to let the cat out of the bag.
The book contains quotes like “[The marriage] was doomed from the very beginning. I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married.”
With the Bravo reality show, ”Being Bobby Brown,” as well an interview where Whitney denies using crack saying “crack is whack …,” it was a union that many questioned from the beginning.
Houston’s camp is reportedly split down the middle in regards to how she should respond to the book. Some feel she should disregard it and simply focus on reviving her singing career, while others want her to sue him.
Brown filed for divorce in 2007, and has since filed suit against Houston for custody of their 14-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, child support and spousal support. –cp
