Per the natural order of things: all good things must come to an end. No matter how dependable or reliable, every car runs out of gas at some point.

After an unprecedented and record-breaking four weeks atop the box office, the mighty Furious 7 has finally fallen as the highly anticipated Avengers 2: Age of Ultron made easy work of everything in its way en route to a $187 million opening weekend.

Coming in a very distance second was the Harrison Ford and Black Lively-led romantic tearjerker, The Age of Adaline, which pulled in an additional $6.2 million. Furious 7 landed at the No. 3three spot this week adding on $6.1 million to its billion plus grand total. Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 brought in another $5.5 million to place fourth this go ’round.
