Debut Smash: Get Rich or Die Tryin’
This album accomplished three things in one: first it made 50 Cent a household name. Secondly, Curtis Jackson’s used the CD like a baseball bat to completely pummel former rap star Ja Rule. He eviscerated him and effectively ended his career. And this was the beginning of him becoming a multimillionaire businessman outside of the hip hop game. Unfortunately, he has yet to match his inaugural efforts, though The Massacre was a quality joint.
