50 Cent Predicts He’ll Die Soon
Earlier this week, 50 Cent used Twitter to vent his frustrations about his strained relationship with his record label, Interscope. But the rapper also used the social media site to share some emotional words about his life and legacy and explained that he believes that he’ll die soon.
“I’ll be honest, I don’t think I’m gonna live much longer. That’s why I started my street king movement. I want to mean more in other peoples lives,” tweeted 50.
After posting his revealing tweet, 50 was bombarded with responses from fans asking him if he was suicidal, prompting the rapper to clarify his statement.
“To be conscious that life is short is not suicidal. I’m good if I die tonight Iv [sic] taken care of the people who took care of me when I couldn’t take care myself,” tweeted 50.
Considering 50’s famous rags-to-riches story, his survivalist attitude (he survived being shot nine times) and his fiery disposition, his latest declaration is puzzling. Perhaps the most shocking thing is that, over the past year, 50 has shown us that he’s not just a successful gangster-turned-mogul with brass balls and knuckles, but really he’s just a man coming to terms with his life and the legacy he will ultimately leave behind. Hopefully, 50’s predictions of death soon won’t come true, but he’s not the only rapper to share such dark thoughts.
