50 Cent has announced that he’s canceling his upcoming album and blamed his record label Interscope for the leak of his new single “I’m On It.” And in the heat of his rage, the G-Unit rapper also threatened to retaliate by leaking his mentor Dr. Dre’s single “Psycho.”

50 Cent broke news of the cancellation to his fans on July 27 via his Twitter page.

*“Man I’m not releasing a album i can’t believe interscope is this f—-d up right now. I apologize to all my fans,” tweeted 50 Cent, adding, “I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to many.”

The rapper then took aim at Dr. Dre, threatening to leak his song “Psycho” to the Web by 2:00 p.m. that day.

“I LOVE DRE but I’m putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00#SK,” tweeted 50 Cent, adding, “Your gonna love it its a big song I just don’t think it deserves a great set up sense they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to me.”

Hours later, the Get Rich Or Die Trying rapper took to Twitter, once again, to recant his decision to sabotage Dr. Dre, saying he would never betray him. And although 50 Cent still believes his label is to blame for the leak, he now insists that fans should listen to “I’m On It.”

“I don’t know how I can record 41 song for my album and the one song I give interscope leaks But I don’t care its good music,” tweeted 50 Cent, adding, “I wouldn’t leak dre’s record he has done nothing but help me in my career. jimmy has always been supportive of me. I hate when I can’t present my music the way. I feel it should be but f–k it check out I’m ON IT.”

This isn’t the first time 50 Cent has had a public spat with his label. In June, the rapper revealed that his album release was delayed due to a disagreement with his label and threatened to cancel the album altogether. He later set a November release date for the album.

The reality is that, in this day and age, no artist can escape the infamous Internet leak. Many artists like Kanye West and Drake are actually using leaks to their advantage. Hopefully, 50 Cent can, once again, squash the beef with his label and get back on track with his album release.
