Bobby Brown drops out of New Edition tour citing medical condition

Bobby Brown decides that he just can’t cut it with the rest of the crew. Early last week, a video surfaced of Brown struggling to perform with his New Edition group, as he huffed, puffed and eventually exited the stage altogether during a performance of “If It Isn’t Love.”

Now, according to Brown’s camp, after having “an intrusive medical procedure,” the 45-year-old singer has made the hard decision to walk away from the concert tour entirely, to seek care under his physician, making his tour commitment impossible.

“I apologize to the fans of New Edition. I really wanted to be with my brothers, but presently I am unable to give the fans what they typically expect from New Edition.” Brown said in a recent statement.

Although there have been no reports as to what Brown is facing medically, we wish him a swift recovery. – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
