Chris Brown and Drake Brawl: More Details Emerge
It’s safe to say that many fans are still a bit in shock about the surprising brawl that happened June 14, between Drake and Chris Brown. Amid the media blitz, details continue to emerge about the violent scene.
As reported yesterday, Drake, Brown and Meek Mill have allegedly been beefing over Rihanna for some time. And on Thursday, a brawl ensued between the three, leaving Brown, his bodyguard and an innocent bystander with lacerations from thrown bottles.
Drake and Brown have now released statements about the incident, sharing their side of the story on the nightclub chaos.
According to TMZ, a rep from Drake claims that the Young Money star had nothing to do with the fight and was on his way out of the club when the melee began.
“Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began.” The rep adds, “[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”
However, according to E! News, a rep for Brown says that the Fortune singer and his girlfriend, who was there at the club during the brawl, are both victims of a vicious attack.
“Chris, [model] Karrueche [Tran] and his friends were victims of a brutal attack last night at W.i.P. They sustained several injuries,” said the rep. “Chris and his party are cooperating with NY authorities who are pursuing this incident further.”
However, source for E! News claims to have spoken with a staffer who was on hand during the fight and the staffer alleges Drake approached Brown outside of the club and that someone then threw a bottle at Breezy, prompting security to try to protect him.
