Chris Brown Denies Slamming Frank Ocean's Sexuality, Shows Support

It’s no secret that Chris Brown and Frank Ocean aren’t particularly fond of each other, but Brown recently found himself in the middle of another controversy with the Channel Orange singer when it was rumored that he allegedly criticized Ocean’s sexuality in an interview. Brown recently shared his side of the story and denied ever criticizing Ocean.

As most of the free world knows, Ocean famously came out on Independence Day, causing a flood of ire and cheer from fans and musical peers.

But according to the rumor mill, when Brown was asked to comment on Ocean’s sexuality in a recent interview, he replied harshly with “no homo.”

However, on July 30, Brown took to Twitter to clear up the matter, and explained that he has no issue with Ocean’s sexuality and that he supports Ocean’s decision to come out.

“My Opinion on the whole Frank Ocean subject is ……… Love who u wanna love. It’s ur decision. People stop searching for BS,” tweeted Brown.

Brown then quickly turned his attention to more important matters, including haters, world peace and “social acceptance.”

“Everyone is so quick to point the wrong fingers at each other! Ask urself… Am I Doing everything I can to help the world ????” tweeted Brown, adding, The world is so bent on social acceptance that we’ve forgotten what makes us special… Our individuality! #Imdone #readabookb—ch.”

Brown’s comments are definitely a stark contrast from the words he shared with Ocean last year, when the two were involved in a bitter Twitter beef after Brown compared Ocean to James Fauntleroy and Kevin Cossum. However, the two eventually squashed their digital beef.

Well, it’s good to see that Brown is supporting Ocean in his brave decision and avoiding another unnecessary beef. And Brown isn’t alone in his support. Check out some other celebrity Ocean supporters below. –nicholas robinson
