Troubled singer Chris Brown has turned down a plea deal offered to him in connection to an October incident outside of a Washington D.C. hotel.

In the plea deal, Brown’s misdemeanor assault charges would have been reduced to a less serious simple assault charge, but the singer’s attorneys have advised against him accepting the deal.

It is speculated that since there is no video of the alleged incident, Brown’s attorneys feel they have a great case to be made in court.

As reported here at ro in October, Brown was arrested after an argument with a man outside The W Hotel quickly escalated into a physical altercation resulting in the man seeking medical attention at an area hospital.
