Details Emerge in Flavor Flav Domestic Dispute

Flavor Flav was arrested on Oct. 17 at his Las Vegas home charges of assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic violence after an alleged domestic dispute with his fiancée and a teen. At the time, little was known about the incident or who was even attacked before the police came. But, now a report has emerged, revealing new details about the altercation.

According to ABC News Action 13, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police claim that the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. CST on Wednesday, and they responded to a call from a woman saying she had been involved in a fight with her fiancé and that he’d also threatened her.

Police say that when they arrived on the scene, they could hear an argument going on in Flav’s residence in the 7800 block of Via Venture Court.

Flav’s fiancée, Elizabeth Trujillo, told officers that her fight with Flav began after she confronted him for cheating on her. Trujillo says things became physical when Flav grabbed her and threw her to the ground twice.

Trujillo’s 17-year-old son came to her defense, Flav threatened him and the two began wrestling. Flav then allegedly grabbed two knives from the kitchen and began chasing the teen, who ran upstairs and locked himself in his sister’s room.

Flav followed the teen and then kicked in the door before threatening him, once again. Trujillo also claims that her left earring was pulled out of her ear during the altercation.

Flav has confirmed most of what happened, though he denies ever chasing the teen or threatening his life. However, the two knives were spotted on the kitchen floor and police observed a cut from the knives on Flav’s left hand.

Flav was then arrested and booked at the Clark County Detention Center, where he was later released on bail for $23,000. He appeared in court early on Oct. 18.

Sadly, Flav isn’t the only star to be involved in a domestic dispute. Check out some other violent incidents below. –nicholas robinson
