Diddy’s rumored to be shutting down Bad Boy Records

It’s rumored that Sean Combs AKA P. Diddy is shutting down Bad Boy Records and moving his roster to REVOLT. Bad Boy brought us The Notorious BIG, 112, Lil Kim, Total, Faith Evans, Craig Mack, Carl Thomas, Mase, Loon, G-Dep and many more, but time waits for no man and neither does hip-hop. Diddy is the owner of REVOLT a TV Network in partnership with Comcast which launched October of 2013. The network launched on Comcast and Time Warner Cable systems but I’m pretty sure it is just a matter of time before it is on all major cable companies.

If the rumors are true, closing Bad Boy will be a shock to many. Who didn’t see this coming? Since 1993 Bad Boy Records has been one of the most successful rap record companies with reportedly over 75 million records sold worldwide to date.

Revolt has also started a film production division that has had two movies under the label thus far. First is the full-length feature, “Lawless and the second is the documentary “Ibiza.
