Describe your deejaying style?

I’m the popping bottles in the club, standing on the couch, middle fingers in the air, how does he do that? Make you feel like you’re on top of the world type of DJ!

How is deejaying profitable from a business standpoint?

It’s profitable for me by keeping a steady schedule of clubs calling to book, relationships with artists, pushing out mixtapes, and doing different appearances.

How did mixtapes change hip-hop?

Mixtapes changed hip-hop by giving the deejay power to put out the hottest new hits way before you hear them on the radio. It also gave artists a way to test the market by releasing mixtapes before putting out an album.

Top three mixtapes of all time?

1. Drake – October’s Own

2. Young Jeezy – Thug Motivation 101

3. Rick Ross – Albert Anastsia

Five songs that will get the party started?

1. V.I.C. – “Wobble”

2. Waka Flocka Flame – “Grove St Party”

3. Lil Wayne – “She Will”

4. Kanye and Jay-Z – “Ni–as in Paris”

5. Big Sean – “Dance”

Five songs that will help partygoers meet their significant other?

1. Wale – “Lotus Flower Bomb”

2. Kelly Rowland – “Motivation”

3. Lil Wayne – “She Will”

4. T-Pain – “In Love With a Stripper”

5. Beyonce – “Party”

What is the future of the DJ?

Hopefully, the future of the DJ is coming more to the forefront instead of playing a background role. Deejays need to get as much shine and credit as the artists. One can’t live without the other!
