Drake and Chris Brown officially make peace

Drake & Chris Brown

Chris Brown and Drake’s friendship has been as storied and tumultuous as the most dramatic of reality TV housewives’ as the two superstars have gone from being buddies to beefing on wax and in nightclubs over pop’s biggest drama queen, Rihanna.  After more than a year of feuding, it looks like the two men finally decided to let bygones be bygones and make peace.

According to Billboard, Brown made the announcement this week on his Facebook page when he posted, “Hanging with Drake in the studio.” The Facebook post coincides with a video released by Room 187’s channel yesterday showing Breezy and Drizzy in the studio together, although it is unclear when the footage was shot. The video also features a pre-tatted Bieber and Brown’s song “Forever” as the main track, leading many to believe that the video was shot around 2008.

However, it was the events that happened in 2012 that led the two stars to this point. In June of that year, Brown and Drake were involved in a bottle-throwing brawl at a New York nightclub. The fight was allegedly started after Drake told Brown that he was sleeping with the love of his life, Rihanna.

Afterwards, Brown dissed the rapper on multiple tracks, but Drake refused to enter a full on music beef with Brown, rather intuitively telling the media that no one would be interested in a beef between them.

Well, we’re glad that Drake and Brown seem to have finally squashed their beef. And, they are not alone. Check out some other stars who peacefully squashed their beefs as well. – nicholas robinson
