Soul music fans are in for a treat, as singer Eric Roberson posted a short instagram video with singer/rapper Phonte making a “verbal agreement” that they will work on a collaborative album to be released some time in 2015.

The two have exhibited great musical chemistry in the past, guesting on each other’s projects including “Picture Perfect” from Roberson’s 2011 Mister Nice Guy album and “Who Loves You More” from Phonte’s Charity Starts At Home, which was also released in 2011.

Here’s hoping that these two great artists can make good on their promise.

Phonte’s most recent release was Love In Flying Colors with his group Foreign Exchange. Roberson most recently did the United Tenors project with Fred Hammond, Dave Hollister and Brian Courtney Wilson.
