After a 10-year hiatus, the British soul-poetry duo Floetry is back. The two ladies, Marsha Ambrosius and Natalie Stewart, took the stage at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York this past Sunday to perform a mashup of their two biggest hits, “Say Yes” and “It’s Getting Late.”

Ambrosius, The Songstress, announced via Twitter that she and Stewart, The Floacist, would be launching a reunion tour.

In the early 2000s, Floetry brought something new to the neosoul scene with their two acclaimed studio albums, Floetic and Flo’Ology, and one live album, Floacism. The duo sold 1,500,000 albums worldwide and even wrote songs for artists such as Michael Jackson and Jill Scott.

Although Ambrosius went on to release two solo albums and Stewart released three, fans still yearned for the two talents to reunite. Floetry fans hope that this tour will spark a new studio album from the group.
