Halle Berry’s Ex, Gabriel Aubry, Loses a Round in Custody Battle

It’s been months since fans have heard word about the grueling custody battle between famous exes, actress Halle Berry and supermodel Gabriel Aubry. But now reports are claiming that Berry recently scored another win in the courtroom as it was revealed that Aubry’s visits with their 3-year-old daughter, Nahla, must remain supervised.

According to RadarOnline, the lawyers for the embattled exes were in court on Oct. 17 I Los Angeles when the order was passed down. Aubry, who’d been accused by Berry of neglecting their daughter’s safety, requested that the judge amend his visitation rights, which require the majority of his time with his daughter to be supervised by a third-party, a nanny, and be allowed to spend unsupervised time with their daughter.

However, Berry challenged Aubry’s request and the judge sided with the actress, upholding the original order of the custody agreement.

A source close to the couple told RadarOnline that Aubry is outraged by the order and feels that the nanny is interfering with his relationship with Nahla.

Aubry is currently taking care of Nahla (with the unwanted help of a nanny) while overseas in Majorca as Berry works on her new movie, Cloud Atlas. And though Aubry is none too pleased about his supervised care of Nahla, he does get to reap some benefits from the custody agreement. Under the agreement, while Berry is working and Aubry is taking care of Nahla, Berry must provide him with the same standard of living as she is being afforded, i.e., if she stays in a luxurious hotel, resort, etc., then Berry must make sure that he be given the same.

Clearly, this custody battle is far from over, but, hopefully, the feuding exes will keep the war at home from damaging the most vulnerable casualty, their daughter.
