The reign of Kendrick Lamar’s major label sophomore release, To Pimp aButterfly, continues.

In addition to spending a second week in the top position of the Billboard 200, six individual songs from the LP have found their way onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “King Kunta” (No. 61), “The Blacker The Berry” (No. 66), “Alright” (No. 83), “Wesley’s Theory” (No. 91), “These Walls” (No. 94),  and “Institutionalized” (No. 99) all made the list of the hottest songs in the country.

Lamar also broke another record as he catapulted from No. 82 to No. 1 on Billboard’s recently created Artist 100 list. Based upon radio airplay, sales, streaming data, and “social 50 activity,” he is only the second rapper to reach the top of this chart. Drake was able to claim the top spot in February shortly after the release of his latest album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.

There’s one more record Lamar broke with his latest album.

Billboard also announced that To Pimp a Butterfly is the first album ever with the word “pimp” in its title to make it to No. 1. Before TPAB, the previous highest charting “pimp” albums were Pimp C’s 2006 Pimpalation album and Too Short’s 1992 effort, Shorty The Pimp, which reached No. 3 and No. 10, respectively.

Lamar is putting the finishing touches on the video for his latest single, “King Kunta,” which he shot on the streets of his hometown, Compton, California.
