Lil’ Kim Hints at Tour With Missy Elliott and Eve
Lil’ Kim has been hitting the road across the country working hard on her Return of the Queen tour. And though Kim is busy working on her own comeback, she may just help her fellow hip-hop vets Missy Elliott and Eve work on theirs as well.
During a recent stop in Chicago, Kim dropped by Power 92 for an interview with radio host Tony Kapone, telling him about her new music and book.
“The next single is called ‘Look Like Money’ and it’s produced by Rockwilder,” said Kim. “By the time we hit L.A. [June 8], it should be just dropping.”
Kim, who publicly bashed the Biggie biopic Notorious for being inaccurate, also talked about her plans to produce her own B.I.G. biopic with the help of those who were closest to him.
“Let’s just be real about it. His wife, his mom, and all them people who was running that movie, aside from Puff, were not around this man the way we were around this man. We were around this man every five minutes, every day. I think our story would be a little more real,” said Kim.
But the big news came when Kim hinted at a girl-power tour with Missy and Eve, who joined her onstage earlier this month.
“Then we go on a bigger tour. We got something really special planned and it stemmed with me, Missy, and Eve,” said Kim.
