There is a whole other side to fame and celebrity that most of us never get to see: the dangerous stalker fan.
Whether it’s a troubled mentally ill man attempting to assassinate the President to impress an actress, or even an overzealous admirer like the character “Stan” in Eminem’s hit song of the same name, sometimes fans go too far in the name of love of a celebrity.
Lil Wayne recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and told of an incident with a crazy fan literally trying to shoot him.
Wayne tells Kimmel that the incident happened after a show. The fan tried to make her way onto his tour bus but was denied access. Apparently, the fan decided to follow the tour bus instead.
“Once we got on the road, the bus driver was like, ‘Hey those girls are on the side of us. He just kept saying it. We wasn’t paying him no mind,” he said.
