LL Cool J Laughed At For “Ratchet” Song

In what could very well be a desperate attempt at relevancy or just a matter of complete and utter boredom, a legendary hip-hop star has released what is easily his worst song to date. LL Cool J, whose career has encompassed over 20 years and thirteen studio albums, is making headlines today for his new single “Ratchet.” On it the rap star battles back and forth with a trifling woman who’s obviously strapped for cash, but is so attractive he can’t help but “smash” and leave her.

Chorus: “She’s so ratchet, she’s so ratchet but she’s so bad it make you throw cash at it/First I’m gonna smash ya/Then I’m gonna leave ya/You ain’t gonna do me like you did him either (I’mma get mine!)/ Can I have some cash? Shoulda got rid of your ratchet a—/A little money for gas? /I never shoulda been with yo ratchet a—!”

The song, which is completely unbelievable considering LL’s longtime marriage to the complete antithesis of ratchet, designer Samone Smith, is being compared to Brian McKnight’s unbelievably bad track “If You’re Ready To Learn (P— Works).” Both show that entertainers sometimes  have nothing but “yes people” in their corner.

Smith has yet to speak on the criticism from the song but Twitter.com users have already given him an earful. “I really woke up this morning to LL Cool J having a song called “Ratchet”,” wrote one user. “End of days y’all. End. Of. Days.” Others called the track LL’s midlife crisis in audio form including Power 105 FM’s Charlemagne Tha God who dubbed LL his annual ‘Donkey Of The Day.’

Listen to LL’s new track below. Is it really that bad or should people give the self proclaimed G.O.A.T. a second chance? -danielle canada

LL on his worst day is better than most of these lame ass new rappers! Ask any real rapper or true fan of Hip Hop and they will tell you he is one of the greatest ever

So he puts out a track that aint what you expect from him and every one starts talkin shit while most of these new rappers are lucky to have one hit! This is the reason I cant take most peoples opinions on Hip Hop seriously.I can agree that the beat and chorus aint that great but I would still rather listen to LL anyday over most of todays bullshit and I bet most true emcees would agree.

First of all if people can listen to and actually like 2 Chainz, they can definitely listen to this sh*t!!! How you just pick and choose which garbage is acceptable for human consumption? Sh*t is Sh*t, ingested, digested, expelled, flushed and the saga continues!
