Dr. Conrad Murray will be the key figure in one of the most high profile trials of the year. Charged with involuntary manslaughter, Dr. Murray is accused of killing Michael Jackson on June 25, 2009 after giving the singer a lethal dose of anesthetic proposal.

On Sept. 23, 145 potential jurors answered a 32-page questionnaire that will provide info on their background, personal views of Jackson, employment history and their exposure to the media’s coverage of the death.

It will be difficult for Dr. Murray’s defense team to find 12 jurors in the Los Angeles area that were oblivious to Jackson’s career and the media coverage that followed his death. Their goal will be to seek jurors who are more willing to look closely at the evidence and come to a fair conclusion.

Dr. Murray’s trial will begin on Sept. 27  in Los Angeles.–a.r.
