Rihanna’s Grammy awards ring sparks engagement rumors

While watching the 55th annual Grammys a number of viewers were taken aback by a beautiful Bajan songstress and the assortment of jewelry she was wearing. Rihanna, 24, was spotted beaming on the front row beside her beau, Chris Brown. And in addition to her megawatt smile, a series of rings on her fingers also caught the eye of photographers.

Insiders say Rihanna was wearing $2 million worth of Neil Lane diamonds and rubies, including a 100-carat diamond and platinum serpentine bracelet, multiple diamond and ruby serpent rings, and 20-carat diamond and platinum drop earrings. Additionally when Rihanna hit the stage to perform her single “Stay”, a so-called “eternity ring” was spotted on her ring finger.

Since then, there’s been speculation that the ring could have been a gift from Brown. Those reports appear to be unfounded however, reps for Neil Lane claim that the simple band was yet another ring they loaned to the songstress.

In additition to Rihanna’s assortment of bling, several other celebs were spotted dripping in diamonds at Sunday’s ceremony.
