Shyne Disses Diddy and Reveals What Occurred During the Infamous Nightclub Shooting: Listen Now

Shyne has said very little since being released after serving a 10-year prison bid for the infamous 1999 shooting at a New York club. Reportedly, Shyne, who was once a Bad Boy artist, began shooting in the club after a group of thugs threw money in Diddy’s face.

During trial, Diddy told the prosecution that he wasn’t responsible for Shyne’s actions. In turn, Diddy was cleared of all charges and Shyne was convicted.
Shyne recently released a diss record aimed at Diddy called “You’re Welcome.”

In the song, Shyne questions how Diddy turned on him during trial.”I need to know, how my co-d[Diddy] called witness to sacrifice me, just so he can get away free, this does not comply with the streets, but he ain’t from there,” he raps.

Shyne also says that he knew Diddy had a bad record for mistreating his artists by rapping, “Look, I seen the plot. What he did to Mase, and he did to LOX, what he did to Wolf and he did to … God bless the dead, Notorious, Pac. Why would I think that I was different, so I just sat in the distance.”

And Shyne believes that the thugs who confronted Diddy in the nightclub would have harmed the music mogul had he not protected him. “Man, if I was yapping, the world would knew what happened, them kids was about to wrap him, Shyne, they should thank him. But no, they hate him,” he raps.
