The King of the South, T.I. brought his swag to Chicago. He made sure everyone at the UIC Pavilion felt his presence as he blazed the stage this past weekend. The Southern rapper performed everyone’s favorite hits like: “What You Know About That,” Whatever You Like,” and a few new tracks off his new album, Paperwork, that included “About the Money” and “The KING.”

T.I., born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., hails from Atlanta and earned his first record deal back in 1999. Although, the UIC Pavilion is a huge venue and usually hosts the City Colleges of Chicago graduations there; the 34-year-old truly knows how to captivate a crowd and give the people a good show. He performed for about an hour and fifteen minutes, with some unexpected cameos from Chicago’s own, rapper Lil Bibby. This was a good look for the Chicago artist because he let the young rapper perform an unfamiliar hit to the audience, and showed some love.

T.I. was also accompanied by a few industry friends as well. Artists like Mila J, who performed her smash hit  “Smoke, Drink, and Break Up” and followed by her new song, “My Main.” Artist YG also performed a few tracks from his debut album, My Krazy Life, imcluding radio hits “Who Do You Love” and “My Hitta”. DJ Mustard also blessed the stage and played a few hot tracks he produced. DJ Mustard dropped his debut album 10 Summers, earlier this year, with features from Ty Dolla Sign, Young Jeezy and 2 Chainz.

Behind the stage T.I.’s wife., Tameka “Tiny” Harris was there for support.
