No. 4 Fresh (1973) by Sly & the Family Stone

The Family Stone was slowly disintegrating by the time Sly recorded this follow-up to the landmark, There’s A Riot Goin’ On album, but the funk genius still managed to deliver a stellar album that proved to be a major influence on later generations (especially D’Angelo.)
