Wale visited East Chicago, Indiana, to take part in the Party in Peace Fest that was formerly known as Craze fest. Last year it was shut down by the police in Indiana because of a Chief Keef hologram. This year didn’t happen to be as dramatic. Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug and Young Dolphins were also on the bill.

Wale was slated to do a walk-through after the Party in Peace Fest at the New Parliament nightclub on the North Side of Chicago. The event was sponsored by XVThree. The club was packed from wall to wall and the patrons behind the velvet rope outside the establishment were anxious to enter. Once Wale arrived, he was escorted to the VIP area with an entourage of about 10 people. He had his hat pulled over his head and seemed a bit sullen and withdrawn at first. As the night continued he broke out of his shell, hit the DJ booth and spun some records. The DJ took a shot at Rich Homie Quan for flubbing some of Biggie’s lyrics at the most recent VH1 Hip Hop Honors and Wale took the opportunity to rock the verses to “Get Money.”
