Miss Diddy LA, Kerri Hilson and fashionistas everywhere came out last night in Atlanta to see who would win the Toyota “Bold” Award. They were looking for bold fashions, and the ATL showed up and showed out! Leading the way were Marlo Hampton, Catherine Brewton, Ms DeCordon, Tameka Foster, and Derek J of Bravo’s “Fashion Queens” offering the first lessons in shoe candy 101.

When these divas slayed the “Fashion Bomb Daily” red carpet their shoe candy alone not only added up to more than the average family’s tax refund check, they radiated “hauteness” from head to toe.

The Cocktails with Claire event finally arrived to the ATL along with Miss Diddy LA, Hennessy spirits and the eloquently spoken Miss Claire.

The room was filled with fashion vendors, stylists, designers and makeup artists, all inspired to learn how to reach new heights in their careers.

There was a very interesting panel discussion that had everyone’s attention. A panel after 9 p.m. when cocktails and treats are freely flowing throughout the room is typically a pretty hard task to pull off; however these ladies were able to command the attention needed. The fashion police were on the panel and the crowd wanted to make sure to take heed to their advice as no one wants a citation from any of these boss ladies.

The winner of the Toyota Bold Award, Elouina Exantus received a couple gift certificates and shared a touching story of determination. “A couple of years ago I set my sights high on my fashion icon Erykah Badu. I went down to the Essence Festival in pursuit of her. I put myself out there and presented her with a crown I designed. She accepted it and not only welcomed me with open arms; she took things a step further and had my crown published in the August 2015 issue of Essence magazine. My career has been on the rise since Essence named me one of the top designers to look for in the same issue,” she said.

The entire event was very memorable and is so far the best fashion event to go down in 2016 so far in Atlanta. Looking forward to the next Cocktails with Claire and Miss Diddy LA event. Check out the gallery after the break
