Towanda Braxton’s 40th birthday bash in Atlanta
The Compound in Atlanta was the site of a celebration as Towanda Braxton brought in her 40th year on earth with her sisters at her flank.
Towanda made sure that her 40th birthday would be a lifelong memory as she and her camp replicated director Spike Lee’s urban classic School Daze with the facilitation of Chef Ashley Inc., with an assist from Enchanted PR for handling the red carpet. Braxton enlisted Tri Cities High School Band Program, cheerleaders, and step team to recreate her very own Towanda University replete with a football field and Greek plots.
Towanda made her grand appearance by jumping out of a huge bass drum. She brought in Tina Fears and the New School Wannabees and the Jigaboos to recreate the tension between the two classes of college students found in the movie.
Towanda added to the fun as sisters Traci and Trina were onstage to do a little karaoke. The evening ended with cake, candy, and cookies.
