The Leaders of Tomorrow showcased an elegant black-tie benefit for the Children’s Memorial Hospital on July 29.

The event took place at Grossinger City Autoplex that offered courtesy valet parking and a complimentary car wash to the patrons. The benefit, produced by Nakita Nicci Whittaker and Fallon Johnson-Toney, of Events by Nicci and Fallon, was dedicated to the memory of Martha Banks.

Brittney Payton, television personality and daughter of NFL great Walter Payton, served as the event’s emcee.

Nicci Whittaker is my daughter n law, and I am so very very proud of her and my son Terrance.  I enjoyed the funraiser convention espeicially because it was for children; not just any children but ill children.  Anytime you do anything for God’s little ones you are setting yourself up for a blessing. Love you both.  Mrs Tulita Ballentine
