. Also more Native African, African American and Latino men have more babies with multiple women than women have with multiple men and that is a big problem which society should try to solve. President Obama has addressed the problem with dead-beat dads who hit it and leaves women to raise children alone. On one post you said you were a teacher,on another you said you worked at the Welfare office.I can’t always make the PTA meeting because I work late.When I do make the PTA,I see just as many Brothers and some time more than I do Sisters.If you see only black women and the men are not there because they are at work,That’s more of an indictment on the character or lack there of, of those women than the men.How many Brothers work late and work two jobs,so that mother you see “all alone”doesn’t have to work and is able to make the PTA,hang out with her friends at the spa,go shopping,traveling,drive that nice car and live in that nice home?I was taken aback that one of my children’s favorite teacher got pregnant and had a baby out of wedlock and never tried to concealed the fact.This was frowned upon when I was a child.I was taken aback even more when I saw the immature young guy this “educated”black women chose to have a baby out of wedlock with.

@Schanellthomas,you really don’t have anything to be ashamed of if you were married.The problem is most of the black women with more than one baby daddy has never been married to any of the guys they had children by.And let’s be honest here,we don’t need a study or anyone or anything to tell us what we see every day.I personally know a 35 year old divorced mother of 16 and 17 year old girls by her former husband,is now 7 months pregnant by her now boyfriend.What kind of example is that to set for those girls?Be angry,but be angry at the women that disrespect themselves and their family by carrying on in such a disrespectful way. Change the reality and the stereotype will change. 72% of black babies born to two parent homes would do more to change the “stereotype” and our society, for the better, than all such excusing words as yours.

The sexual statistics are damning for black women. Much more likely to have an STD, more likely to get pregnant as a teenager, which leads to higher abortion rates. More likely to have babies with multiple fathers.
