President Obama Kills Osama Bin Laden; Re-Election Sealed

Tue., May. 3, 2011 7:49 AM EDT
by Terry Shropshire

“Mr. President, I have the royal family on hold. They want to know if they will be invited to your re-election victory party.”

President Obama may have just wrapped up the 2012 election when he turned Osama bin Laden into shark food.

Sarah Palin, collect your moose rifle and crosshairs and return to your isolated outpost in the frozen tundra far north of here. It’s over.

Donald Trump, you’re are so fired. You are hereby remanded to deserved obscurity for the next four years, which is the worst type of punishment for you since you lust for attention and for people to genuflect at your toupee. It was said on the “Rickey Smiley Morning Show” that your “Celebrity Apprentice” was interrupted by the president’s announcement of bin Laden’s death. Poetic justice.

The “birther” movement? Make sure you turn out the lights on your way out. Good night.

This act of killing Osama bin Laden is much more than a political act. It washed away the bloodstains of more than 3,000 murdered victims fromalmost 10 years ago in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. It is “justice,” as Obama said, for all the innocent victims’ family members.

“This man’s evil energy has been taken off the earth,“ said one of the Sept. 11 survivors. The slaying of bin Laden enables an entire nation to dust off their shoulders, pop their collars and stick out their chests once again.

With bin Laden’s demise, Obama accomplished something that the previous two presidential administrations — run by Bill Clinton and George W. Bush — could not do: find and kill that merciless murderer. Bush, Clinton and Condoleezza Rice all called to congratulate Obama.

With a single swipe at bin Laden‘s jugular, Obama also obliterated the arguments of a legion of loud critics who lampooned Obama’s leadership.

Weak? Far from it.

Indecisive? No, sir.

An alleged Muslim who won’t kill another Muslim? That argument is buried right next to bin Laden.

A supposed foreigner who is running the White House? Man, go somewhere with all that noise. Fall back.

Of course, his enemies are relentless and ruthless. As they retreat to their ideological bunkers to heal and put tourniquets on their gaping political wounds, they are strategizing to return  with some other alleged Obama failure, in an attempt to swipe the Oval Office chair from under him.

Just know that it will be much harder to go to war against Obama now. I also know that it won’t be a good idea to have Donald Trump in the foxhole with you.

The Trump connection really makes me smile – when our President was taking shots at Donnie at the press dinner, he must have known what was going to happen shortly. Sort of two idiots with one stone.

Thank you Mr. President Obama and those whom risk their life to accomplish this mission. I was so tired of people who try to discrediting him as a human being. They question his race, birth, education, and ability to run this country. There are news correspondences that still call him Mr. Obama, instead of calling him, President Obama. Next they probably will be making up negative thoughts of this current success mission.
People I like to say get over it! President Obama is one of the greatness, President of all times. I love the ideal he was able to pass the health bill, before the new Republicans came abroad last year. Good timing! My son who is in college now have health insurance, which we could not afford. Again Thank President Obama!

Bravo… all the silly myths destroyed in a week’s time. We have a leader America, the one we were promised in 2008. USA! USA! USA!

Re-election sealed unless Al Qaeda attacks America and kills more Americans before then. That is President’s Obama and subsequent presidents to come task: offense and defense with our country going broke.

    • Hope2

I see you are still afraid of a dead bully. Obama is not scared of the bully and he took him out. The bully is dead you coward. I’ll bet a there are a whole lot of Bin Laden followers that are glad he’s dead too so he can stop bullying them. You are too clueless and scary for me. You finally have a prez that’s not scary and is protecting us and you’re still scary. Glad it’s him in the WH and not you.

Hope2, is the world a safer place with Bin Laden gone? Word to the wise: Have faith in the LORD. Remove those rose colored glasses and face facts and truth.

Kudo’s on your write-up of this important event. It was eloquent, concise and extremely interesting. Easily this is the best written piece I’ve read on Rollling Out.

    • Terry

Ms. Fleming, thanks for the kind words. Bless you.

  • JK

I hate to break this to you but the President did not kill Osama bin Laden and he can hardly attempt to take credit. Highly trained & extremely brave Navy SEALS did, completing the mission that George Bush initiated long before Barack Obama took office. In his formal speech, the President didn’t even mention the U.S.S. Cole or the attacks on American embassies orchestrated by bin Laden. I am no more convinced of his abilities than I was before this military success, and that has nothing to do with his citizenship.

    • Terry

JK, thanks for your response. Presidents are often referred as the person who killed even if they haven’t picked up a gun in their entire lives, as in the case or George W. Bush, nor served in a battle zone, as in the case of, well, George W. Bush. Hate to point this out to you, since you have, at least in the last 24 hours, living under a rock, but Obama is being given credit across the entire globe. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that, under Obama leadership, the military was able to do what Presidents Clinton and Bush were unable to do: kill him.

      The irony is hilarious.

      • JK

Terry, thank you for YOUR ill-written response (I believe you messed up a key verb in that last sentence). I am merely referring to the misleading title of this also horrendously written article — “PRESIDENT OBAMA KILLS OBL.” Other news sources are saying “OBL Killed by U.S. Special Forces,” which is in fact accurate. If the liberals had had their way, we would never have gone in after him in the first place and he’d still be at large. So thank you, Bush. And if a leader with actual front line experience is what you want, Terry, you should’ve voted for McCain.

        • Hope2

Girl, sit down! You wanna try looking up a press conference with dubya, back in March 2002 saying he doesn’t know where Bin Laden is and he doesn’t care. He said he’s probably in a cave some where and he doesn’t care and is not worried about a marginal character, he is not a threat.

You need to quit it talking to Terry about a verb. Girl please he is getting paid to sit up there and type whatever he is typing and you with your wanna-be -correct ass is broke and socializing on a computer. Get real. Go get a job where you get paid to write the title the way you want. Who cares about semantics. So even if the title did say what you wanted it to say, BUSH still didn’t order the hit nor carry it out. Your problem is pure deep seated jealousy. You are so jealous until you can’t stand it and it has you talking out of the side of your neck.

          • JK

Hope, I’m not sure what this has to do with anything, but in fact I do have a full-time job in Washington, D.C., and I also freelance articles to a number of D.C.-based publications. The reason I mentioned Terry’s typos was to draw attention to the issue of credibility, not to attack on a personal level. I’m sure that Terry is a very good person, but a journalist harms his or her professional credibility when they make repeated typographical and grammatical errors that cause readers to question whether or not the journalist even proof-read his or her own article. If the best they can manage is “you’re are so fired,” why would I believe they actually even know what they’re talking about?

          • Jtshrop

Everyone, don’t be so hard on JK. She is simply carrying out her gopher duties as a Tea Party flunkie, dispatched to get blacks back in their place and squash any semblence of euphoria. Now that the plantation is back in order, she will return to the tent get her head patted for a job well done. And she can then go home to her best “black” friends: the maid, the cook and the gardener.

        • Uncle Chuck

JK: It’s like this, Scientist discovers new drug; company that employs him takes credit. Happens all the time.

btw: research bin Laden died in 2001

    • Mary

Bitch quit hating because he’s black. That is all you are doing. I bet you watch black movies and love black music huh? You watch NBA @ NFL look at all the BLACK STARS take them away and what would you have in your collection’s? With your STUPID HATER ASS WHAT DID YOU @ YOUR FAMILY DO?

      • JK

Mary, calm down. There is no reason to be so rude and disrespectful; I’m not calling anyone names and I certainly did nothing to merit being called a bitch (other than disagree with you, apparently). I said nothing about the President’s race in any of my comments here, and that’s because it’s a non-issue to me. I am the farthest thing you will ever find from racist; my best friend is African American, as are many of my friends and co-workers. The reason I don’t support Obama is because of his policies, not his background, race, or place of birth. Cool your jets and be civilized.

I feel this was a long time coming

Thank god for our President for a job well done

  • Mary

    HATER’S, HATER’S, HATER’S J K IS A HATER AND STUPID!!!!!

    • Terry

No, Mary … JK cannot be classified as a hater. She’s just like Donald Trump; in her aforementioned diatribe, she some of her best friends are “the blacks”. LOL

  • butterface81

JK, I feel for you, sister. You – and many of your kin – really don’t get it. I pray that God, one day, will open your eyes. If you have not noticed, this is a site that focuses on BLACK news. If you have not noticed, here in America we have “freedom of speech.” RO doesn’t need YOU running up and down its stories critiquing them. Slow … your … roll, and go REALLY help someone in need of your attention.
