Rich Mitt Romney leaves staffers a dirty surprise
For the record, Mitt Romney never claimed to be Mr. Sensitivity to the working class, not even those lowly workers that toiled for him for months during the campaign.
The word has hit the street that as Romney was making his concession, his accountants were behind the scenes calling the credit card companies to cancel the Romney campaign staffers’ credit cards.
According to Forbes magazine: “From the moment Mitt Romney stepped off stage Tuesday night, having just delivered a brief concession speech he wrote only that evening, the massive infrastructure surrounding his campaign quickly began to disassemble itself. Aides taking cabs home late that night got rude awakenings when they found the credit cards linked to the campaign no longer worked.”
That’s right, Mitt Romney showed his loyal campaign staffers that they had better get home the best way they could.
Forbes added that Romney didn’t have to clown like that: “In case you are wondering, this did not have to happen. The Mitt Romney for President Entity does not end with Romney’s Tuesday night loss. There are papers to be filed with various federal commissions and bills to be paid.”
It should also be noted that Romney prepared “a brief concession speech” only that evening, meaning that he was sure that the presidential victory was in his icy hands.
