Major League Baseball is on the verge of suspending about 20 players in the next few weeks based on the players allegedly using performance-enhancing drugs. This could be the worst drug abuse case in the history of baseball.

The league isn’t sharing any of the information on who the 20 players are. There is a possibility that the highest paid player, New York Yankee Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez, and Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers may be among the 20 men.

Braun was faced with suspension once before but he was able to get the charge overturned. Rodriguez and Braun are both denying using any enhancing drugs. Hopefully, they’re telling the truth because the league may seek to double the suspension; one infraction for using the drug and another infraction for lying about using it.

A Florida newspaper first accused Rodriguez of doping in January. They were able to find the source for these drugs, which reportedly was a Miami anti-aging clinic called Biogenesis, the owner is Anthony Bosch.

Bosch is accused of supplying performance-enhancing drugs to players and teaching them  how to avoid getting caught by drug tests. The league has filed a suit against Biogenesis. They may drop the suit if Bosch cooperates with the investigation.
