Manny Pacquiao out-punched and dominated Timothy Bradley for 12 rounds in a championship bout held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on June 9, 2012.


When compared, Manny Pacquiao landed 253 punches to Timothy Bradley’s 159. In power punches, Manny Pacquiao outpaced Timothy Bradley 190-108. However, two of the three judges somehow believed that Timothy Bradley was more effective and awarded him the split decision.


It was by far one of the most lopsided and incorrect moments in the recent history of boxing. We can expect a full investigation of each judge, but the damage has been done and boxing will not be the same.
