Sanders played 11 full seasons for the woefully talentless Detroit Lions, yet Sanders is best known for being one of the most prolific running backs in NFL history. Sanders retired from the NFL with his health intact, having gained 15,269 rushing yards, 2,921 receiving yards, and 109 touchdowns; however, all with out that elusive title.
