Serena Williams Tweets Near-Naked Photos; Is She Crazy?

Serena must need a boyfriend badly. She’s advertising her availability by posting near-naked photos of herself on Twitter.

Ok, Serena, let me get this straight. Last week, you had a deranged stalker arrested at the doorstep of your home. This week, you are tweeting pics of yourself in various stages of undress from the bedroom of your house.

Do you have a death wish, Serena? Are you that bored or lonely that you would show yourself in panties and a bra behind a see-through curtain? Has your elevator stop going to the top floor? This is crazy.

And the hypocrisy of it all. Why would you have a man arrested at your home if you’re going to just tease and entice other mentally misshaped sociopaths to your doorstep? That’s like hanging a dead and rotting animal from your front door and, then, wondering why hungry bears and coyotes keep snooping around your house.

Put your clothes back on, you silly girl, get back on the tennis court and tighten up your game.

On Thursday, Serena posted a new avatar on her Twitter page, a risqué photo that has us peeping at her through a lace curtain while she “unknowingly” looks the other way in white bra and panties. Yes, it’s a sexy photo. You can clearly see the silhouette of her curvaceous and ample behind, but it’s not pornographic. It’s actually a sexy shot that you’d expect to glean from a photo shoot.

But it’s unwise. Serena could have been seriously injured — or worse — by a dude who actually crept into her dressing room at the Home Shopping Network, then later trespassed at her private address. She should seriously reconsider taking any sexy or nude photos in the foreseeable future.

Yes, Terry because if she never gets nude or nearly nude again – it will stop stalkers from ever darkening her doorstep (literally). *blank stare*

Serena has been in various stages of undress in many magazines (like hundreds of other popular women), these photos are pretty much the same. This is like blaming a scantily clad woman for being raped. This is like blaming the children having fun at the park for the
Pedophile that is taking pics of them from afar.

Dee, of course women are not to blame when they are raped and neither are children when pedophiles slither around playgrounds looking for easy victims. I can’t believe you even insinuated that noise and that I blame her for her stalker. He was arrested and charged, by the way, so the right person got punished. However, when you know of a particular danger, there are things you can do to LIMIT or PREVENT folks who are mentally unstable from being enticed to act out their craziness.

Leaking pics of yourself in bra and panties ain’t the way to go.

I am sad for anyone who wants attention so badly that they are willing to do most anything to get it.  Serena is certainly not alone; there are countless celebrities who had shed nearly bare to to revive their careers.  Those who seek them out following such stunts are equally to blame for validating these ill-conceived stunts.

I agree; if I had someone stalking me uploading sexy pictures of me to my twitter account would not be a priority.  This is a mild case of I am suffering for attention but the attention that I am receiving for my actions are not what I am looking for i.e. her being stalked.
She’s a celebrity in her own right and do not need the attention for herself as well as her famous rump. She a beautiful women who doesn’t need to result to suffering tactics in order to gain attention there are too many men with sanity who would love to be with her.
This just proves that no matter how much money you have you are always lonely and sometimes still not happy with you.

The tone of this article is disgusting.  It suggests that because Serena has been a victim of a stalker, she should continue to live her life in fear and be limited in how she chooses to express herself and her body.  That is not the case.  She can, and some might argue should, take control of her image and sexuality after such victimization.  What you say is crazy may actually help her to regain some sense of self and sanity.  However, my point is not pontificate about what she may be going through or what her healing process looks like.  It is to say to you that the blame should be put where it belongs – on the offender.  Less tasteful, more revealing photos of Serena in a bikini are published by blogs and online magazines all the time.  Are you also arguing that they are intending to “tease and entice other mentally misshaped sociopaths to your doorstep”?  Are you searching the rolling out archives for scantily clad photos of Serena and asking that they be removed for her safety?  If not, you’re not really concerned for her but more interested in shaming, blaming, and controlling her.
