Twitter reacts to Donald Sterling ban

Donald-Sterling

Even though NBA commissioner, Adam Silver, has only been on duty for a matter of months, he came in guns blazing when it came to laying down the law for Clippers owner (or shall we say former owner) Donald Sterling.

Yesterday, Silver called a press conference, where he acknowledged that he had listened to the racist recordings released by TMZ last week, alleging that Sterling was the voice behind the horrific rant and confirmed that Sterling was indeed guilty!

And while Sterling has had a history of making reckless comments throughout his history with the NBA, Silver made it known that it would not continue on his watch and swifty banned Donald from all things NBA … for life! On top of that, Sterling will be forced to pay the maximum penalty fee of $2.5 million.

As you can imagine, social media had a field day once the news broke and while many of the details of his forced leave need to be worked out, many fans seem to be very accepting of his “sentence.”
