On the latest episode of “Basketball Wives L.A.” viewers watched as Orlando Scandrick finally addressed the rumors that he dated Chantel Christie at the same time as Draya Michele. As previously reported Chantel who is Jackie Christie’s daughter, revealed that at one point she met with Scandrick while he was seemingly still with Michele.
Scandrick later confirmed that he met Christie while on a “break” from Michele but wasn’t interested in the starlet.
“Orlando explains that, during one of their splits, his friend hooked him up with Chantel and they talked for a few days,” recaps Nicholas Robinson about the episode.
“Orlando invited her [Chantel Christie] over to his place when he had friends over but when she arrived he wasn’t attracted to her (he describes her as chubby) and she only stayed for five minutes. Orlando says he passed Chantel off to a friend who dated her for a bit.”
Just before Scandrick shared his side of the story however, Christie blasted Michele for her Mint Swim bikini collection. According to Christie, Michele should aim to be more inspiring like herself considering that she’s released two albums and a book. She also added that Michele would soon be broke because “no one buys bikini in the winter time.”
Upon hearing about Christie’s phantom albums and tome, Michele and her fans quickly reacted.
I laugh in the faces of those who talk about the way I run my businesses.

Chantel has since issued an apology of sorts but is still being blasted online.
To address the comment I made regarding “swimsuits in the winter time,” it was an immature jab. Like the ones being thrown my way — Chantel Christie (@ChanteIChristie) March 11, 2014
Nonetheless, that scene was filmed a long time ago and I’m at a far different place in my life. Not worried about anyone’s hustle but my own — Chantel Christie (@ChanteIChristie) March 11, 2014
