More details emerge about Porsha Williams’ major debt

Porsha Stewart-Williams

Earlier this week, news broke that Porsha Williams was nearly $20,000 in debt to the Homeowners Association for failure to pay dues. Now, with all eyes firmly planted on Williams and her piggy bank, new details have emerged about her mysterious past debt.

Shortly after the news was made public, RadarOnline posted court documents from a lawsuit filed against Williams by The Grandview Condominium Association in 2012 for falling behind on her dues. Williams reportedly failed to respond to the lawsuit and the Condo Association took the case back to court in 2013 because Williams still had yet to pay back any of her debt.

The court documents show that Williams owed $13,584.67 in dues, but with interest, attorney’s fees, post-judgment interest and case costs included; she ended up owing a whopping total of $17,859.67. On Jan. 12, 2014, a judge signed off on documents issuing the garnishment of her bank account for the heft grand total.

It is still unclear why Williams had a condo before her “Housewife” days and, apparently, during her marriage to her ex-husband, Kordell Stewart. However, it’s clear that Williams wasn’t too bothered by her debt woes as she posted an Instagram photo to let fans know that she’s relaxing in her new 8,000 sq ft, 6-bedroom home.
